FSF’s Assistance to Families
Nearly 90 firefighters and rescue personnel are killed in the line of duty every year in the United States. While there is often (but not always) assistance available to the surviving families from governmental entities, the families of heroes who leave children behind usually have even greater needs.
To assist, the Firefighters Support Foundation pro-actively makes contributions to funds established for the children of fallen firefighters. This financial support may also be applied for by filling out and returning the application. Click the linked, red box below to download the application.
Due to privacy concerns, we do not publish the names of FSF Survivors Assistance recipients. We may, however, occasionally share a recipient’s message in order to pass along their thanks to our donors.
