Charting Impact is a nationwide initiative of BBB Wise Giving Alliance, GuideStar USA, and Independent Sector, three organizations that have been leaders in the evaluation of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations for decades. They provide a format for nonprofits to report "concise, detailed information about plans and progress". Nonprofits can develop and upload their reports to the Charting Impact web site.

When you receive a pledge confirmation in the mail, you might notice that you are asked to send your contribution to a different address than FSF's corporate office.
That is because it is the address of the collection point of the fundraiser who made the call on our behalf.
The Firefighters Support Foundation, Inc. (FSF) is a nonprofit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We are a nationwide organization in that all of our programs are available free of charge to every public safety professional and agency in the United States.
The Firefighters Support Foundation receives no government assistance. Funding is accomplished by private donations from concerned citizens and businesses. Solicitations are accomplished with the aid of registered, professional organizations with considerable experience in funds solicitation. FSF solicits funds in our name only and does not refer to any specific department as the recipient or benefactor in any solicitation.

If you want to be taken off our fund raising list, or have a question about a pledge that you made, please please send us an email with all of the information listed below and we'll take care of it. We need all of this information to effectively address your request.
